Philips has announced a five -year guarantee included as standard for its new range of certified commercial monitors of TCO, Generation 10, which covers defects in materials and labor, although they exclude accidental damage or misuse.
As reported by Techpowerup, the 34B2U3600C is the first in the range that, according to Phillips itself, hopes to take advantage of the TCO certification to combine premium technology with a sustainable manufacturing process.
The company also offers free security and functionality updates for five years from the date of sale, or the final manufacturing date for applicable products. The guarantee is available in all European regions, except Russia and Belarus.

TCO is a global certification that stands out to electronics manufacturers that maintain high standards of environmental and social responsibility.
With monitors such as 34b2u3600c, Phillips hopes to achieve this by reducing its dependence on hazardous materials, improving energy efficiency and promoting principles of 'circular economy', such as repair, durability and management of the end of life.
The panel is curved 34 inches, with a suggested retail price of € 439.00, admits a WQHD resolution with 1.07 billion colors, while the Smartkvm function allows users to change between sources using a simple keyboard jam.
The screen also presents Rheinland's view certification and Softblue technology to help reduce visual fatigue.
In addition, the monitor admits a USB-C coupling station with a 90 W energy delivery, and its RJ45 port guarantees a fast charge and a safe network connection. A compact Ergo base offers adjustment of height, inclination and turn to improve ergonomic comfort.
