Konami has revealed the first look of the game Metal Gear Solid 3 Remakeand it looks great.
Xbox Games Showcase 2024 is in full swing and we've already received plenty of exciting announcements from some of Microsoft's biggest studios. Also revealed during the broadcast was the first in-depth look at Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake – also know as Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
The trailer showed protagonist Snake as he takes on a series of immersive, stealth missions in this reimagining of the iconic military agent's origin story. We also see Snake crawling along high beams, subduing enemies, and even hiding in a swamp wearing a crocodile helmet.
According to the developer, players choose a newly added modern control style and also choose to play with a classic control style “that more closely recreates the feel of the original game.”
“The same gripping story and exciting world, but with completely new graphics and 3D audio that enhance the jungle atmosphere,” Konami said. “Get ready for the ultimate survival stealth action experience.”
Although we don't have a release date yet, we do. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Serpent Eater It will come to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake was first announced as part of Sony's State of Play on May 24, 2023. At the time, the game was rumored to be aiming for a late 2024 release, although it appears this will not be the case.
It is also confirmed that all the original voices from 2004 Metal Gear Solid 3 will be used in the remake, and we mentioned it in the latest trailer for the game.
