Stop wasting money: Use this trick to get 6TB of premium Microsoft cloud storage for just $0.25 per day

Black Friday is just a few days away, so now is the perfect time to fill your boots with Microsoft 365 subscriptions – great if you already use it personally or at home, or if, like me, you're a super user looking to get 6TB of cloud storage on a budget.

Right now, you can get up to 33% off Microsoft Family with free antivirus included or a whopping 54% off Microsoft Personal with the same gift, valued at $15. These are 12-month subscriptions and will lock in your savings for up to 60 months.

This is a trick I've done in the past (and will continue to do) and it involves waiting for this time of year for prices to drop and then purchasing (and hoarding) the licenses.

Right now, the best deal for Microsoft Office is Microsoft 365 Family, followed by Microsoft 365 Personal. Office 2024 is another one you may want to purchase, as it gives you a perpetual license that cannot be revoked. Basically, you pay once and use it forever.

you will want to buy five subscriptions instead of just one because you can accumulate them, allowing you to lock in the price for five full years.

So I bought five separate subscriptions, received emails, activated them, and was locked in for 75 months (so a little over 6 years). Remember that these are digital downloads and activations, so don't miss your email and check your spam box.

Below is a table comparing these three versions.

With Microsoft 365, you get up to 6TB of cloud storage (1TB per person) and the entire Microsoft suite of apps, and one that continues to grow: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Access, Publisher, OneNote, and Outlook, plus Editor, Defender, OneDrive, and Clipchamp. Family and personal subscriptions also get up to 60 monthly AI credits

Oh, and don't forget, you get more than just that, as the package includes ESET NOD 32 Antivirus 26 (1 device for one year).

It's a shame that Microsoft doesn't offer multi-year subscriptions to its 365 suite, as it would have been a huge hit with both consumers and businesses.
