The Samsung Galaxy S25 series isn't launching until early next year, but we've already seen numerous leaks surrounding these three phones, and now we have what appear to be the exact dimensions of the Galaxy S25 Ultra model.
These dimensions come from the usually reliable Ice Universe and are said to be 162.8mm x 77.6mm x 8.2mm. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra that was released in January 2024 has dimensions of 162.3mm x 79mm x 8.6mm.
If these numbers are correct, the next Ultra will be slimmer than its predecessor, and in fact the thinnest model in the series to date. It also looks like it will be taller and wider than the current model, though not by much.
This isn't the first time we've heard about the Galaxy S25 Ultra's thinness: An earlier leak claimed the phone would be thinner and lighter than its two most notable rivals, the Pixel 9 Pro XL and the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Let me join the fun. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra announced size: 162.8mm x 77.6mm x 8.2mmSeptember 7, 2024
Part of the change in dimensions could be due to the phone being rumored to return to a more rounded look. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has flat edges on its display, and moving away from that would likely involve an adjustment in dimensions as well.
We're also expecting a very small increase in display size on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra – it's rumored to come in at 6.86 inches, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 6.8-inch corner-to-corner display.
There's also talk that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will adopt a more asymmetrical shape from front to back, which will be more rounded towards the back. That should make it a little more comfortable in the hand than its predecessor.
Another rumor we've heard is an increase in RAM to 16GB, though other specs including battery capacity and charging speed are believed to be the same as the current model. We should see the phone debut in January.
