The Samsung Galaxy Ring is officially coming soon, but there's still a lot we don't know about it, like how much it will cost. Before the full presentation of the smart ring, a new leak gives us another clue about the potential price.
Experienced tipster Yogesh Brar and Android Authority have done some digging with their sources and have priced the Galaxy Ring in the US at between $300 and $350, i.e. £235-£275 or AU$450-$525. , although Samsung will not use a direct currency conversion. .
Perhaps deliberately, that's around the same price you'll pay for a third-generation Oura Ring too: that smart ring, which is currently the main competitor to Samsung's device, starts at $299 / £299 (the Oura Ring isn't sold directly) . in Australia).
Oura Ring also has a subscription option to access more advanced features – yours for $5.99/£5.99 a month. It gives you more detailed information and analysis, blood oxygen detection, and more, and according to Brar, Samsung has plans for a similar subscription.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Samsung is looking to add an optional subscription alongside the Galaxy Ring; It's something that Apple and Google do too (via Fitbit). Technology companies know that recurring subscriptions are where the money is.
Brar says the monthly cost would be less than $10, which is to be expected considering how much people already pay each month for their digital subscriptions. However, it is not certain that a subscription package will be released.
An additional subscription is currently not required to use the health and fitness features of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, but that could change once the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 appears; Like the Galaxy Ring, it is expected to be presented on July 10.
We've already tested a Galaxy Ring prototype, but this is the first rumor we've heard regarding pricing. Samsung will know that its smart ring must be competitively priced, and we will soon find out the official cost of this device.
