Information continues to leak about Samsung's upcoming wearables, namely the Galaxy Buds 3 and the next-generation Galaxy Watch. Starting with the first, user AffinityNexa posted a marketing image for the headphones on Samsung's official forums of all places.
The post is still up on the website and shows the earbuds inside a clear-lidded case. The most interesting aspect of the image, however, is the tagline, which reads “Where audio meets AI.”
This leads us to believe that perhaps the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro will have some type of AI functionality. Exactly what type is unknown, although it could be similar to how the Nothing headset integrates with ChatGPT. Those headphones allow you to pinch to talk to talk with ChatGPT. Samsung may plan to do the same, but they will likely connect to Google Gemini.
In 2024, the two tech giants became frequent collaborators. The Galaxy S24 series currently features Circle to Search, and offering quick access to Gemini Nano via Galaxy Buds3 could be the next major update to this long-standing partnership.

Change of design
The forum post reveals other features potentially coming to the Galaxy Buds3 duo. According to AffinityNexa, Samsung is redesigning its audio devices by giving them a stem that protrudes from the main body, much like the AirPods.
The description matches another leaked image that appeared on June 21 showing the Buds 3 with a stem. The design isn't just visual, however, as it will apparently allow for “better controls and microphone quality.”
Inside the headphones will be “new internal drivers,” which will presumably allow for better audio output. The battery will also reportedly last longer, but the amount of time was not provided. Other notable features include an IP57 resistance rating, allowing the devices to survive brief submersion, and an adaptive equalizer to adjust sound profiles on the fly.
The new look of the Galaxy Watch
As for Galaxy watches, news site YTECHB uncovered details from a European retailer about what the future wearables could cost and what colors they will be available in. They claim that the 40mm Galaxy Watch7 will cost 314 euros (about $337), while the 44mm model is priced at 345 euros (about $370). The Galaxy Watch Ultra is expected to be much more expensive: 699 euros or about $750.
The Galaxy Watch7 series will reportedly be available in cream, green or silver. Samsung's Galaxy Watch Ultra has three color options: titanium gray, titanium silver, and titanium white. It is unclear if the word “Titanium” refers to the construction or if it is simply the name of the shade. We believe it is the first, since pThe latest rumors have suggested that the wearable device features a titanium casing.
Take everything you read here with a grain of salt, as things can always change. We'll know what's real or not soon enough at Samsung's next Unpacked event, which could be July 10. A promotional banner was found on a Dutch telephone operator's website revealing the date of the big event.
