The answers to today's Quordle, game #877, are…

Today I went back to my standard Quordle strategy after a few days of experimentation… and boy did I miss it! Yes, it may be somewhat predictable, but starting with three established starting words is objectively the best way to win this game. You do not agree? Send me an email explaining what your superior method is and I promise I'll try it myself.

Today's answers are relatively difficult, with a couple of repeated letters and unusual spelling formats, but they all fit comfortably for me, with my starting trio doing most of the hard work.

By the fourth guess I already had four letters for each of the four answers, the top right being PRIVY, particularly easy thanks to the three green ones I had there. The hardest one was probably CELLO (it's very unusual to have a C followed by an E at the beginning this way), but a combination of guessing and luck kept me on track and I solved the entire Quordle with two guesses left. Normal service is restored…
