The answers to today's Quordle, game #846, are…

As far as the Quordles were concerned, this was easier. Or at least it was the easier side for me, because my three established starting words (LOOK, MAT, and PUT) did a lot of the hard work for me. In fact, I'm thinking about trying a new strategy simply because it's usually not that challenging to play this way and I'll never be able to score better than a 7 out of 9. We'll see.

Anyway, as far as today goes, the only tricky one was FLAKE, because the -LA-E pattern I had discovered could also have been FLAME or BLAME. But once I solved that, he gave me K for EQUALS, the other potentially difficult one given the way my board looked at that stage, so I completed the puzzle with an additional guess.
