The answers to today's Quordle, game #867, are…

Some nice words in today's Quordle. THUMP is one of my favorites; he has a nice onomatopoeic quality thanks to the soft MP at the end. CLUNG is a much harder sound, with CL and NG competing for prominence. I like to say both things. I didn't like solving CLUNG that much; I first lost a guess on CLUNK, but that was the only real challenge for me here, as my opening words gave me a good start on all four words.
