The answers to today's Quordle, game #984, are…

I really need to play more carefully. Too often lately I've played a card in a spot where it was already discarded, a sure sign that I'm rushing through my daily Quordle. It's a silly mistake and the kind of thing that can lead to failure. That this wasn't the case today is due more to the relative ease of this game than to my experience. ELFIN is probably the hardest of them, but there are no obscure words or unusual letters, so I could get away with it.
