The answers to today’s Quordle, game #912, are…

The word PRIMO isn't used very often, is it? According to the excellent website WordAndPhraseInfo, it ranks 31,592 in terms of the most used words in the English language, compared to FUSSY's 15,968th and THOSE's 102nd; HEARD doesn't make the list because it's a derivative of HEAR.

Anyway, with that in mind, I can understand if you found PRIMO difficult today, although I didn't. That was because my opening words gave me the green P at the beginning, the green I in the middle, and the yellow O and R – it really couldn't have been anything else but PRIOR, and for some reason I didn't see this last word until I had already solved PRIMO.
