The answers to today’s Quordle, game #894, are…

Today I went back to my usual strategy of starting with three words after five days of trying with two, and I immediately felt much more comfortable. Sure, it still took me eight tries to solve them all (which is about what I've been managing with two), but it required much less mental effort and I never felt like I was in danger of losing my streak.

Anyway, today's words aren't too difficult. There are no repeated letters, no uncommon words (or words with unusual spellings), and no Q, Z, X, or J to worry about. There aren't really any complications of any kind, beyond the fact that I needed to play BEFOG as a choice word to help me choose between GRAIN and BRAIN.
