The answers to today’s Quordle, game #917, are…

Ooh, this is a potentially nasty Quordle puzzle. Three of the answers contain a repeated letter, the other is an uncommon Q. I needed all nine answers to complete it, and my streak was certainly at risk by answer 8. I actually got lucky with that answer when I rather foolishly guessed BLAME – if the answer had been GLAZE or FLAKE, I would have faced a 50/50 on the final answer. It turned out the L stayed yellow, meaning it had to be QUIT. Phew!
