NYT Strands Today (Game #105): The Answers
The answers to today's 105th Strands game are…
- CHAI
- MATCHA
- JASMINE
- CHAMOMILE
- oolong
- GUNPOWDER
- SPANGRAM: TEA TIME
- My rating: Moderate
- My score: 1 track
Fun fact: I have never drank a single cup of tea. Not JASMINE, not MATCHA, not OOLONG, nor any of the other varieties that form the answers to the current NYT Strands enigma. That made the task a little harder for me than it might have been for you, to the point where I needed a hint to get started.
Once I had that, it wasn't so bad; I had heard of all of them except GUNPOWDER, which I solved right at the end. However, CHAMOMILE tripped me up because it is spelled without an H in the UK, another example of the NYT's lack of awareness (or lack of interest) in global language. Not that there weren't plenty of other teas they could have included instead of that.
