NYT Strands today (game #206): the answers
The answers to today's Strands game #206 are…
- ROUND
- SKIRT
- FLANK
- SIRLOIN
- CANE
- THROW
- steak
- SPANGRAM: CUTS OF MEAT
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
I'm a vegetarian now, but back in my carnivorous days a good steak was one of my greatest culinary pleasures. But I'm probably not much of an expert, because I'd never heard of ROUND in this context. That was a bit unfortunate, given that it was the first answer I found today, but it didn't help me much to clarify what I was looking for.
Fortunately, the word BRISKET, which I had heard about before, came to me shortly after. All that was left for me to do after that was to find the other words, including the spangram for BEEFCUTS, and I was able to dig in and finish this meaty puzzle.
