I'm the rare person (at least in the TechRadar office) who doesn't care in the slightest about my birthday. I don't celebrate it and haven't for years – it's just another day. I don't mind people who celebrate their birthdays in grand style, but I do wonder why it's so important for us to remember the fact that the Earth has rotated several multiples of 365 times since the day we were born. I think that may just be me though.
Anyway, this was one of those Strands games where I just couldn't get started without help. The “one for the story” thematic clue just didn't give me enough to develop the concept further, so I used a clue, which gave me the word CAKE, and after that it wasn't too bad.
