- My rating: Perfect
Who knew there were so many different words for BELL TONES, as the spangram says? Well, I for one, because it seemed really, really easy to me. The “Striking Sounds” theme clue was a pretty telling clue as to the concept here, and when I saw TOLL by accident, it confirmed my suspicion about what was needed. Without even having to look at the board, I predicted that words like PEAL, RING, and CHIME would be there, and the spangram itself was equally easy to figure out.
