This was one of those Strands games where I wasn't quite sure what the connection was until I solved the first one, at which point everything became very easy. That first word, in my case, was CHICK, and I immediately realized that I now needed more baby animals, or BABY ANIMAL, as the spangram would say.
After that, all I had to do was think back to when my kids were little, when it seemed like I spent 50% of my waking hours imitating farm animals of some sort. But no, I didn't make the noises while solving the Strands puzzle…
