NYT Strands today (game #130): the answers
The answers to today's Strands game #130 are…
- BUTTER
- CHILI
- BACON
- CHIVES
- CHEDDAR CHEESE
- BROCCOLI
- SPANGRAM: BAKED POTATO
- My rating: Moderate
- My score: Perfect
A baked potato is objectively one of the best mini meals out there, so I enjoyed this puzzle from Strands of the NYT. Not that I realized what the connection was until I was relatively late in the game — I’d already encountered BUTTER, CHILI, BACON, and CHIVES before I got the spangram, and at that point all I knew was that there was clearly some sort of food relationship.
Once I understood the spangram, BAKEDPOTATO, everything became much easier; the only thing that gave me trouble was my inability to spell BROCCOLI (it always trips me up).
