I'm mad at myself today. Really mad. No, I didn't fail, but I needed one of the NYT's in-game clues when I actually could and should have solved it without it. The thematic clue was very obvious, and as soon as I saw “Not stirred,” I thought “shaken.” But for some reason it didn't occur to me that the answer could be that simple, so I didn't even look up the word SHAKEN, which was the spangram. If I had, I wouldn't have needed the clue to get me going, because all the answers were pretty easy. Nonsense, nonsense, nonsense.
