NYT Strands today (game #154): the answers
The answers to today's Strands game #154 are…
- RING
- HALF
- PALM
- pinky
- THUMB
- CUTICLE
- NAIL
- POINTER
- SPANGRAM: AT HAND
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
This is another easy Strand, made even simpler by the theme clue that gives the game away before you start. After all, “In the glove” can’t possibly refer to anything other than the hand, and if, like me, you found RING or HALF or PALM early on, you’ll have confirmed that theme straight away.
I doubt the whole process took me more than three minutes, and only CUTICLE gave me any trouble, simply because for some reason it took me a couple of tries to spell it!
How did your day go? Send me an email and let me know.
Answers from yesterday's NYT Strands (Saturday, August 3, match #153)
- BAROQUE
- MODERN
- ROMANTIC
- CLASSIC
- MEDIEVAL
- SPANGRAM: HISTORY OF ART
