Art is not my thing. I can appreciate it, sure, but if you ask me to draw or paint something, you better ask my dog. I'm terrible at it. As a result, this NYT art-themed Strands puzzle probably caused me more trouble than it would have otherwise.
There's nothing difficult about it and I figured out what the topic was relatively early on (after finding PAINT and BRUSH by accident). However, I just couldn't think of things an artist might need beyond those two things. CANVAS was certainly an easy option that I eventually found, but it took me a long time to find EASEL and PALETTE. Still, I have no complaints – it's nice to get your brain working and I eventually figured it out.

What is NYT Strands?
Strands is the NYT's new word game, following Wordle and Connections. It's now out of beta, making it a full member of the NYT Games roster and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
