No problem for book lovers, which I bet are the majority of people who choose to play Strands every day. The theme clue didn’t completely give the game away, for once, and when I discovered KNOW by accident on my first guess, I wasn’t sure what the concept was. But I understood a bit more once I found LEARN, STUDY, and READ, and the rest fell into place easily.

Strands is the NYT's new word game, following Wordle and Connections. It's now out of beta, making it a full member of the NYT Games roster and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
