NYT Strands Today (Game #658): The Answers
The answers to today's Strands game number 658 are…
- HUFF
- BREATH
- BRICKS
- STICKS
- STRAW
- BLOW
- BELOW
- SPANGRAM: THREE LITTLE PIGS
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
A super long spangram nowadays, but worth it for the excellent puzzle construction – a Strands classic.
First of all, top marks for having HUFF and PUFF at the top of the puzzle, and then for the house-shaped THREELITTLEPIGS spangram. These touches made it a fairly easy game (you just need to remember the nursery rhyme), but we can take an occasional break from practicing.
I'm also excited because I got a badge for this game for the fiftieth time I saw the spangram for the first time. I had no idea he had done that so many times.
Answers from yesterday's NYT Strands (Saturday, December 20, game #657)
- STAR
- ORNAMENT
- LIGHTS
- TAPE
- TINSEL
- ANGEL
- SPANGRAM: CHRISTMAS TREE
