Leaks for Nothing Phone (2a) are increasing as we get closer to its March 5 release date. This time around, a series of what could be official images have recently surfaced showing the full final design of the mid-ranger.
These renders, oddly enough, were posted on the Nothing Community forums by user Greg2024. The original page has since been deleted, but luckily, people managed to save its content. Looking at the leak, the Nothing Phone (2a) looks radically different from the previous Phone (2) model. The rear camera lenses will be aligned horizontally and placed in the center of the top half of the device. What's more, the glyph has completely disappeared. In their place are three light strips located around the cameras. Below that, you'll notice a pipe-like pattern moving downward.

On the front, it is rumored to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display surrounded by slim bezels. The pinhole selfie lens is on top, plus the images show the power button on the right with the volume rocker on the left. Finally, the Nothing Phone (2a) will be available in white or black.
Looking to the future
That's it for the leak, so now the question is what can we learn from the renders because in our opinion, it looks legit. For starters, the rear glyph transforming into a simplified light array is likely a cost-cutting measure on the part of the developers. The same goes for the wireless charging coil. That has disappeared and has been replaced by the lines that meander down.
What adds more credibility to the leak are the cameras. In mid-February, industry insider Abhishek Yadav got his hands on what he claimed was an early version of the smartphone, and wouldn't you know it, it has horizontally aligned lenses. It’s also worth looking at the Nothing Phone (2a) launch event tagline, which is “Fresh. Eyes.” And what do a pair of eyes look like? Two cameras placed side by side.
missing information
Device specifications were not part of the leak; However, the company confirmed in a recent YouTube video that the smartphone will be powered by a custom MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset. The rest of the model's hardware capabilities are officially unknown at the moment, although rumors claim that it will have at least 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The price is also a mystery; however, 9To5Google posits that it could cost approximately $380/£300/€349.
As always, take this information with a grain of salt. Things could always change in the coming weeks. Perhaps the company will stick with the old set of vertically aligned lenses.
Around the same time this leak came out, sub-brand CMF by Nothing announced two new audio products; most notably the Neckband Pro, a pair of headphones presumably equipped with a battery that will be hung around the neck. They are expected to have “best-in-class ANC” or active noise cancellation.
