Tekken 8The release is right around the corner, but for a brief moment today, some fans wondered if it might arrive sooner than we expected. However, Bandai Namco has already denied these rumors.
In case you did not know, Tekken 8 is scheduled to release on PC, PlayStation 5and Xbox Series|S January 26. However, on Twitter/X today (January 2), user @BuffGigas shared images of signs in a store stating that the fighting game would arrive on PS5 on January 21, five days earlier than originally announced.

Just to confuse things even more, at the time of writing this article, if you look at the product pages for Tekken 8 On the Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox digital stores, it looks like the game will launch on January 25.
In a comment sent to TRG, Bandai Namco confirmed that Tekken 8 is still scheduled to release on all platforms on January 26. We’re told that the January 25 date shown on Steam is likely due to time zone differences, and as for the physical posters, “it appears there has been a misprint.” While this may be a bit disappointing news for some, it’s no different from what we were originally told, so we shouldn’t be too surprised that the actual release date remains the same.
Sounds like Tekken Regardless, fans have a lot to be excited about when the game releases. In its practical previewperennial TRG writer Kara Phillips wrote: “Regardless of your experience on the series, whether you’re stepping into the ring for the first time or returning after spending years training, Tekken 8 “It promises to deliver an immersive and unrivaled fighting game experience that I believe will keep players engrossed for years to come.”
