- Fujifilm Zuh6000 admits the projection on walls, ceilings, floors without moving the projector or adjusting the lens
- The hidden emerging lens mechanism resembles the retractable neck of a turtle
- Projected to get to the market in June 2025, but the price remains secret
Fujifilm has introduced its latest innovation in projection technology, the Fujifilm Zuh6000 projector, a 4K Ultra Short-Throw (UST) projector equipped with a rotating lens folded with two axions.
This last incorporation to the Z series is designed to project high definition images with improved color precision and soft gradation.
Compared to its predecessors, according to reports, it improves color reproduction in 1.5 times, with red tones that sees a double improvement.
A retractable lens inspired by nature?
By mediating 486 mm wide, 496 mm deep, 175 mm high, the ZUH6000 is not a portable projector, but is obtaining a lot of fidelity.
In the heart of the ZUH6000 there is a high performance DLP chip, which allows you to project 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). It admits a brightness of 6000 lumens that is lower than the brightness of 8000 lumens of the Z8000 that Fujifilm launched in 2021.
The two axial lens of the ZUH6000 allows the lens to rotate 90 degrees around the assembly axis and 360 degrees around the lens axis. The lens can also be hidden, leaving only the exposed emerging mechanism reminiscent of the ability of a turtle to retract and extend its neck.
It also supports a lens change function that offers up to 82% vertical and 35% horizontal adjustment. This flexibility allows projection in multiple directions, as well as adjusting the position of the projected image without physically moving the projector or altering the lens address.
A 1.1x optical zoom mechanism guarantees an efficient and precise image positioning, which makes it ideal for complex space designs.
Although there is no official information about the price of this device, it is scheduled for its launch in June 2025.
