A flood of new information has recently emerged about Motorola's Razr 50 series, leaving very little to the imagination. Thanks to a report on 91Mobiles via Evleaks, we have a better idea of what the hardware will look like and what features the pair of phones may have. The models are known as the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra, but in the United States, the pair will likely be renamed the fourth-generation Razr and Razr Plus. The company has done this for previous versions.
The first thing you'll notice in the photos shared is that the standard model's external display is much larger than that of the Razr 2023. It's now reportedly a 3.6-inch pOLED display, which could match the resolution of the Motorola Razr Plus last year's 1,066 x 1,056 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the main display is likely to remain the same as the 2023 smartphone: a 6.9-inch pOLED display that generates a Full HD Plus image resolution (2640 x 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate also of 120 Hz.
All that runs on the standard Razr is likely to be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X, a chipset that NotebookCheck notes has yet to be released and could potentially debut in this phone. The report notes that it will be powered by the same 4,200 mAh battery as the 2023 model. Because it is an identical power source, we are concerned that the new hardware could drain the battery faster. It's hard to say for sure. Not much is known about the performance of the Dimensity 7300X. On the back, you'll find two cameras: a 50MP main lens along with a 13MP wide-angle option. The selfie lens on the front is a 32MP camera.
Razr 50 Ultra specifications
Motorola's Razr 50 Ultra has many of the same features as its counterpart, with some notable differences. Instead of the Dimensity 7300X, it will house the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a chipset that is currently only available in a handful of Chinese smartphones. According to 91mobiles, the exterior screen is slightly larger at four inches. Both displays also have a higher refresh rate of 165Hz. Likewise, both rear camera lenses are 50MP.
The Razr 50 Ultra's battery is planned to be 4,000 mAh, a direct upgrade from the 3,800 mAh power supply of the 2023 model. It probably won't last as long as the base device, but at least the smartphone will run longer than before. Additionally, the high-end foldable device reportedly has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the base device has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

It's unknown when either foldable will be released, but considering we have all this information, the launch could be right around the corner. NotebookCheck states that the price of the Razr 50 starts at $699/€899 (around £550). It will be available in grey, beige and what appears to be dark or burnt orange. No pricing was mentioned for the Razr 50 Ultra, although initial reports expect it to cost “€200 more.” That's around €1,099/$1,200/£940. The device will have its own set of colors: sage green, peach pink, and bluish violet. However, none of the leaks give the glasses a proper name.
Of course, take everything with a grain of salt. Things can always change at the last minute.
