- The senior producer of Monster Hunter Wilds, Ryozo Tsujimoto, has discussed a Nintendo Switch 2 potential in a new interview
- You cannot reveal any concrete plan, but does not rule out the possibility
- He says that “we would have to take our time to know the exact nature of hardware”
He Monster hunter The franchise has been in the past quite closely associated with Nintendo, so many fans wonder if the next installment, Monster Hunter Wildswill come to Nintendo Switch 2.
Spanish game site Gamereactor.es recently put this question to Senior producer Ryozo Tsujimoto in an interview we have translated.
“We have nothing else to announce beyond what is already there,” he began. “But we are also in the same position as everyone else with Nintendo Switch 2, it is such a new announcement that we would have to take our time to know the exact nature of the hardware in the near future and how we will use it better.”
From this, it seems safe to assume that there is no Nintendo Switch 2 port of Monster Hunter Wilds Currently in development. It is likely that the team will focus on successfully sending the game in PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC on February 28.
That said, Tsujimoto does not rule out the possibility, so we could still see Monster Hunter Wilds go to the next system. It will probably depend quite a lot on system specifications and if such an expansive game of the open world could be executed in it.
For now, we will only have to wait more updates.
