We've seen a ton of leaks for the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro over the past few weeks, and they show no signs of stopping – the latest leak hints at some good news regarding the pricing of these earbuds.
Tipster @Kuma_Sleepy (via SamMobile) has managed to get their hands on what appears to be a South Korean retail listing, which shows images of the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, with prices listed alongside them in South Korean won (KRW).
The Galaxy Buds 3 will reportedly cost KRW 203,700, while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will cost KRW 296,700. If we do a direct currency conversion, the price would be around $150/£115/AU$220 and $215/£170/AU$320.
While Samsung won't be using a direct currency conversion to set international pricing, the KRW figures match the starting prices of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 and Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2, so we expect there won't be a price increase for the next generation of wireless earbuds.
Coming soon
The previous earbuds were released in 2021 for the standard model and in 2022 for the Pro model, so we've been waiting quite some time for Samsung to update this product line. It looks like the wait is about to end, as Samsung has organized an Unpacked event for Wednesday, July 10.
The Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are expected to make an appearance, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Ring. It’s shaping up to be a busy event.
It can be seen in the leaked images (which match previous leaks) that Samsung is opting for a more AirPods-like style this time around, with what appear to be thin LED light strips running along the stems of the earbuds.
Another rumor suggests that these earbuds could include many Galaxy AI features, though it's unclear exactly what that might entail. Samsung has already implemented AI-powered live translation on some of its older earbuds.
