The writing assisted by AI-AI has gone from an optional experiment to a daily dependence in many workplaces, warned new research.
A ZeroboCe survey of 1,000 American professionals states that employees and managers are integrating AI tools into routine communication, sometimes so that they raise awkward questions about trust and authenticity.
The study found Mearly a quarter of employees (24%) now report that they use daily to write or edit emails, and those in technology are more likely to trust it.
How employees are adapting to AI
For many employees, this technology has increased confidence, reducing the social pressure that comes with work writing.
However, the change is not completely positive, because more than a third (35%) of employees say they have been based on AI to help write or edit confidential texts, and some even copy and stick these messages without changes.
Others feel that they cannot write without AI writers, and this pattern shows that AI is not only for convenience but, for some, a crutch.
Many workers can also recognize when a text is generated by AI, since one in five has caught a co -worker using an identical email created by AI.
The use of AI in sensitive contexts, such as performance and dismissal reviews, is much more controversial.
More than a quarter of employees (26%) suspect that their performance review was generated by AI, with the highest suspicions among younger workers and technology.
The sixteen percent of the employees who lost jobs believe that the termination email they received was written by AI, and 20% said they cried when they read a message of dismissal without emotions.
The results point to a disconnection between how employees perceive these communications and how managers justify their use of AI.
While some argue that automation improves clarity, many workers interpret it as a lack of empathy, and managers are not only observers of this change; Many are active participants, with 41% admitting that they have used AI to write or review a performance review.
Some have gone further, with almost one in five (17%) recognizing their use in emails of dismissal.
Managers also inform confidence in their ability to use AI, and only a minority believes that their staff surpasses them in skill.
The evidence indicates that the role of AI in management communications is no longer marginal.
It has been normalized in the writing of everything, from emails of routine to decisions that directly affect the livelihoods.
If this continues and the AI is efficient, it seems certain that the works will be lost and could accelerate the decline of the RR. HH.
