After my survey on which iPhone 17 model you, dear readers involved in Apple products, chose, and a subsequent survey on which feature makes one choose an iPhone Pro over a standard model despite the price differences, I am now here asking you which feature you consider to be the most important in a smartphone in general.
Regardless of whether you're part of the Android Army or Team Apple, I'm curious to know which feature has the most influence on purchasing a new phone. Go vote in the poll below and if I've missed anything, let me know in the comments below and tell me why the feature you chose is the most important.
For what it's worth, I still think that cameras ultimately dictate which phone I put my SIM card in and call my everyday smartphone. I take a lot of photos for work and having a set of rear cameras that offer flexibility and consistency in photographic results is key for me.
And it's the reason I use an iPhone 16 Pro Max, as I feel like the iPhone Pros consistently deliver high-quality shots, giving me a camera system I can fully trust. While models like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra offer class-leading shooting most of the time, like other Android models on our best camera phones list, I don't think they offer the photo-taking experience as easily as iPhones or as consistently.
Likewise, a robust design and a 120Hz display are also important factors for me, as well as a good chip for some mobile gaming, but the cameras remain the top priority for me.
But I'm just a man with an opinion, so let me know what you think and check out the comments for other thoughts and feelings you may have.
