January 29, 2025, Barcelona: The GSMA shared the outstanding aspects and its vision for the MWC25 Barcelona, during a press conference today. With its unique combination of exhibition, opinion leaders, new companies and policy formulators, MWC25 Barcelona will gather everyone, from CEO of Industry and Visionary Founders to Presidents, for the largest and most influential connectivity event in the world between 3 to March 6, 2025.

The discussions about the role of technology in our societies are in the center of attention as never before. MWC will organize some of the most influential minds in the world that will share their ideas on the issues, including the way the AI will remodel our lives, the challenges of balanceing innovation and regulation, and the evolution of mobile networks.

The exhibitors for the first time attend the show include Alibaba Cloud, China Unicom, Databricks, Indra, Kddi Spherience, Kyocera, Global Liberty, Siemens, Squaretrade, Tencentnt Cloud, Transunion and Ubiquiti. 4yfn, the home of great ideas, will bring together new companies, investors and companies to feed the next generation of unicorns in the 8.0 and 8.1 halls. The Banco Sabadell stage in 4yFN will organize some of the most important names of the world startup and investors community, as well as the father of modern AI, computer scientist Juergen Schmidhuber. On day 3 it will reveal one of the finalists of the 4yfn Awards: Bankuish, Horus ML, Qflow, Ramon.space, Rockfish Data, as the winner.
In the GSMA pavilion in Hall 4, the European Space Agency (ESA) will demonstrate the results of its association with the GSMA that aims to promote new terrestrial and satellite communications services for society. Also in the pavilion, the GSMA will show a new Kazakh Large Language Model (LLM) so that IA supports the languages of resources worldwide. The LLM was created through our association with Von, Beeline Kazajstan and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, one of the seven AI factories in Europe.
And in the Gsma Open Gateway showcase next to Pavilio, we will highlight how network APIs are helping developers in the vertical sectors to implement new services. There will be six demonstration capsules organized by 17 organizations, including Nokia and Elmo cars that will show how to remotely conduct a car in Finland using API.
The GSMA Ministerial Program will summon industry leaders, government ministers and regulatory authorities for the largest world meeting of policy formulators that allow the digital economy. The topics on their agenda will include the governance of AI, the energy efficiency of the networks, the future spectrum for investment in mobile and networks.
MWC25 Barcelona is located with FC Barcelona's Sports Tomorrow Congress of Barça Innovation Hub in Hall 6 and, in the first place for this year, it will take exhibition space in 4yfn. And, after a successful pilot last year, the Mobile World Capital talent sand will be located in Fira Montjuïc. More than 200 speakers will attend Talent Arena this year, including Apple Steve Wozniak co -founder.
The GSMA Open Gateway Devcon will take place at Talent Arena, along with Hackathon Open Gateway. Developers will test their projects in realistic conditions in live networks, with access to the latest network API. Mobile World Capital is also bringing 180 developers in Paris on a charter flight with Vueling and 70 developers on a high -speed Madrid train with Iro.
