The two organizations discuss the digital progress of Vietnam in GSMA Digital Nation Summit that will take place in Hanoi next week
April 9 2025, Hanoi: The GSMA and the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) today announced a new collaboration to deepen cooperation to accelerate the Vietnam mobile and digital communications ecosystem. This association is a global imperative to carry the rapid technological economy increased Vietnam at the forefront of the world stage.
The GSMA and VDCA will discuss how they help accelerate Vietnam in the GSMA Digital Nation Summit Hanoithat will take place on April 15, 2025 at the Sheraton West Hanoi hotel. Through the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the GSMA and VDCA will focus on how the mobile ecosystem can help support the Vietnamese government Information and Communication Infrastructure Plan 2021-2030which includes the expansion of broadband infrastructure to cover 99% of the population with 5G networks by 2030, promote environmentally sustainable digital infrastructure, create innovation areas to accelerate technological development and position Vietnam as a Regional Center for Networks Safety and Data.
Through this MOU, GSMA and VDCA they will share technical experience, promote industry events and summon interested parties through thought leadership platforms. GSMA will contribute through his global work on spectrum policy and cybersecurity frames. Resources such as the GSMA mobile threat intelligence framework (Motif), guidelines on fraud and safe technology of quantum quantity, and global best practices on regulatory governance will be made available to Vietnam's strategic objectives.
This collaboration is established in the context of Vietnam's appearance as a rising digital economy with global potential.
