At least two workstation specialists have put the PCs supercharged with the NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPU for sale in recent days. The most impressive of all is the Bizon ZX5500 That pack up to seven (yes, seven) GPU RTX 5090 refrigerated by water RTX 5090 in a high tower housing. This is the best GPU ever built and buying it through systems builders seems to be the only way to avoid months.
While the Bizontech solution will probably appear in our best work station guide, it is not as expansive as the big cumin server, which has eight RTX 5090 GPU, but the latter does not yet have a release date (I contacted cumin for cumin for obtain more details).
The ZX5500 is not cheap by just under $ 102,000 with the GPUs counting on the action of the lion (more than 83%) of the total cost. That is almost 3 times the price of the Big Boss of Mifcom, which has seven GPU RTX 4090 refrigerated by liquids.
A more reputan 6KW power supply unit and the cards cost $ 85,000 additional compared to the same system with a couple of RTX 5080 (with 16 GB of vram each). As a reminder, the suggested retail price of RTX 5090 is 'Solo' $ 2000.
RTX 5090 GPU, where are you?
I wrote two weeks ago about the Bizontech ZX5500, an RTX 5090 7 GPU system that, unlike the cumin grruelo, can be combined with an EPYC dual -cpu CPU but that had a much higher entrance price at $ 102,000. Other boutique work station suppliers have also managed to ensure RTX 5090 units (although with a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks).
The United Kingdom Punch technology is taking orders for a workstation of Ai Threadripper Pro Rendering with two GPU, a threadripper pro 7995wx, 256 GB of RAM and a sticker price of a little less than £ 24,000 (around $ 30,000).
For a little more, local rival exploration computers sell an EPYC -based workstation with eight RTX 5090 for almost two thirds that Comino charges for their system. I communicated with them at X.com (previously Twitter) to find out if this is a genuine price, a position marker or a clumsy error.
(ED: It turns out that it is a one -year subscription for the Scan Cloud Work Station Service, even more disappointing then)
Puget Systems, whose president blamed a very limited supply of RTX 5090 for long delivery times, only sells single-shape configurations for now, although I noticed that he can obtain a system (the T140-XL) with two NVIDIA RTX 5080 of 16 GB 5080 for a little less than $ 13,000, ready to send in less than two weeks.
Other work station specialists who are selling RTX 5090 platforms include:
The popular team of the Titan Computers workstation, and none of the three BIG PC manufacturers (Dell, Lenovo and HP) have not yet launched the RTX 5090 workstations.

In his review of the RTX 5090, John Loeffler of Techradar calls him the supercar of graphics cards, and asks if it was simply too powerful, which suggests that it is an absolute glutton for power.
“It's excessive,” he jokes, “especially if you only want it for games, since the monitors that can really handle the frames that this GPU can publish is probable to years away.”
