The generative expenditure has exceeded cyber security, with financial services, ICT, manufacturing and retail sale that technology seeks to adopt a new research.
As a result, three out of five organizations have now appointed a Director of AI (CAIO) or similar to supervise their strategy, found the last generative index of adoption of the giant of the computing in the cloud AWS.
According to the report, almost all (90%) organizations are using Genai in some way, and 44% already went from experimentation to complete implementation.
Genai's expenditure has exceeded security spending
The AWS report explores the different ways in which companies plan to implement the AI, with half of the companies that again plan to build their own personalized applications using existing models (58%) such as those that use standard tools (40%).
An equally high number of companies will also use adjusted models based on its own patented data. (55%), but in general, a hybrid of construction and purchase of AI tools seems to be favored.
More than half (56%) or the companies surveyed also indicated that they already have internal AI training programs, but this figure is expected to jump into 19 percentage points to 75% by the end of 2025. However, with limited budgets and uncertainty on how to define the precise AI skills, it is clear that the companies will spend time to find their feet before workers can feel fully back.
Even so, 92% of companies require AI skills during recruitment in 2025, demonstrating a great opportunity for workers to accelerate and prepare for an evolving workplace.
An additional of every four (26%) also plans to adopt more AI during the next year, showing how leadership roles are being developed to handle AI and humans: a feeling that the CEO of Salesforce, Marc Benioff, who believes that the current and near the CEO generations should handle the AI agents feel with humans feel.
