The endings has received a new patch that makes important balance changes to the Medium version and more.
Update 1.5.5 launched today (January 24) with a primary focus on providing some much-needed balance adjustments to the Medium version, specifically nerfing some of its weapons. The update has also reduced the duration of invulnerability after a respawn.
Embark Studios noted that player feedback is being considered and explained that it will also review the Medium version's Recon Senses ability, which is currently being worked on.
“You can expect that change and more in next week's update,” the studio confirmed.
Additionally, the patch also implemented a fix to an issue that was causing certain GPUs to crash for players, while also updating tournament matchmaking in a change that will “lead to a narrower player skill gap in tournaments.”
In addition to these technical changes, players can also find some new items in the in-game store, including the new Contam Couture set, which comes complete with a yellow hazard suit, gas mask, and shovel charm.
