Final Fantasy 14 next big expansion, dawn trail, It is just around the corner. Finally launching on July 2 (or June 28 if you've pre-ordered for early access), Warriors of Light will be quickly ushered into the beginning of a new story arc for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG).
Last week I attended sunrise European media tour, where I had the opportunity to speak with Final Fantasy 14 director and producer Naoki Yoshida on the upcoming expansion. I asked Yoshida if there is any content in the game now that he would recommend players experience before starting. The trail of dawn main scenario quest line.
“There is content that I would recommend that would provide information about the history of the world and connect with what would happen in trail of dawn,“ Yoshida says. “That would be Aloalo Island from the Variant Dungeon series. But other than that, if I say too much, you'll get spoilers!”
In final fantasy 14, Variant dungeons are optional multi-path dungeons that can be tackled solo or with a group of up to four players. Exploring the different internal routes will not only challenge players with different boss encounters, but will also allow them to slowly uncover the history and mysteries surrounding the area.
In the Aloalo Island variant dungeon, players team up with Matsya, a shy fisherman who played an important role in the final walker expansion (and who was the centerpiece of one of its most heartbreaking scenes). The location also seems to fit the bill in terms of aesthetics. Although Yoshida highlights it as something to check before trail of dawn, We are likely to find some links to the New World there, even if they are not immediately evident.
Yoshida also stressed that players should review Final Fantasy 14 know in general. “You could take a look at history books like the Eorzea Encyclopedia and go over the makeup of the world, and that might be helpful. But I think if I say anything else, there will be spoilers.
“However, what I can say is that the Warrior of Light will be going on vacation. But how long will the vacation last… who can say, because the Warrior of Light always gets into trouble!”
