Elden Ring Speedrunner LilAggy has achieved what you'd be forgiven for thinking might be impossible: a full run through the game without getting hit, while also randomizing every enemy, boss, and item (aside from the key ones).
The rules of the challenge were brutal, to say the least. Of course, the main part was simple, if not extremely difficult in itself: don't get hit. Hits were classified as damage or staggers from enemies or traps (not environmental or self-inflicted non-lethal damage), but an exception was made for Mohg, Lord of Blood's 'Nihil' attack, as it is impossible to avoid.
Otherwise, all enemies in the game were random, which meant there was always the chance of encountering Malenia right at the beginning of the adventure, and all items, aside from key items like Great Runes, were also mixed up. This means that, unlike non-randomized studies Elden Ring Challenges where players can plan their builds and take everything they need to become an unstoppable threat from the start, LilAggy had to work with everything that materialized, for better or worse.
This, combined with the requirement to beat the tutorial boss, Grafted Scion, the prohibition on exiting the game or using the Memory of Grace item to escape sticky situations, and having to re-randomize the game after each defeat, can you understand it. why this took more than a thousand attempts.

The winning race, which was streamed on Twitch over the weekend, took around four and a half hours to complete in total. Random shenanigans included replacing Margit, Fell Omen (generally speaking, one of the easiest first bosses in the story), with Godskin Duo, a couple of tough bosses that are difficult to deal with at the best of times. In the finale, Radagon was swapped out for Fallingstar Beast and Elden Beast was replaced with an Erdtree Avatar, which overall are certainly more accessible fights.
There is no doubt that this is one of the most difficult challenges any player could hope to achieve in Elden Ring, so to call it an achievement would be an understatement. We'll have to wait and see what daunting tasks the streamer will dare to take on when the DLC expansion arrives. The shadow of the Erdtreeis finally released.
