Well, until Peaky Blinders The film makes its debut on Netflix, whenever that may be.

How so? Because Steven Knight, Peaky Blinders' creator, is also the visionary behind A thousand blows” development. Hey, I told you it's in very good hands.
Well, then, what happens? A thousand blows What is it about? In short: illegal boxing in the 1880s. Oh, you wanted to know more about its history? Well, here you go: “BAFTA-winning actor Kirby [stars] as Hezekiah Moscow, who finds himself drawn into the vibrant and violent crucible of the post-industrial revolution in London's East End from Jamaica.
“Caught up in the criminal underbelly of the thriving boxing scene, he meets Mary Carr (Doherty), leader of The Forty Elephants, London's notorious female gang, as they struggle to survive on the streets. As Hezekiah hones his new skills, he faces off against Sugar Goodson (Graham), an experienced and dangerous boxer, and soon the two are embroiled in an intense rivalry that extends beyond the ring.”
Knight said in a statement that the love and care that went into this exciting production is evident on screen from the very first moment. What makes the story we tell even more compelling is that it is based on the lives of real people who lived extraordinary lives in extraordinary times.
Joining the series' main trio are Francis Lovehall as Hezekiah's best friend Alec Munroe, Jason Tobin will play Mr. Lao and James Nelson-Joyce as Edward 'Treacle' Goodson.
On the Forty Elephants front, Hannah Walters will play Eliza Moody, Darci Shaw will play Alice Diamond, Nadia Albina has been cast as Verity Ross, Morgan Hilaire is Esme Long, Jemma Carlton has been cast as Belle Downer and Caoilfhionn Dunne rounds out the ensemble as Anne Glover.
Finally, Susan Lynch stars as Jane Carr, Daniel Mays as William 'Punch' Lewis, Adam Nagaitis plays the Earl of Lonsdale, Gary Lewis joins the cast as Jack Mac, Tom Davis will take on the role of Charlie Mitchell and Robert Glenister will play Indigo Jeremy.
A thousand blows will debut on Disney Plus (internationally) and its sister platform Hulu (US) when its first season arrives sometime in 2025. It will also consist of six 60-minute episodes. And yes, when I say “first season,” I mean it, because a second chapter, filmed back-to-back with its predecessor, has already finished production.
