Did you miss Black Friday? Fear not, as PS Plus members can still get an extra 5% off PS Direct, including sale items.

While the biggest sales period of the year is now over, PlayStation Plus members can still get great prices on gear and gifts at PS Direct UK right now due to an extra 5% discount being offered to subscribers.

Yes, on top of Sony's already great winter sale prices, you can get another 5% off select purchases.

That extra 5% applies to large purchases, like discounted PS5 consoles if you want to dive in and go big this holiday season, and also to smaller items that would make the perfect gift this Christmas.

For example, you can get a PS5 Slim Digital Edition for just £280.24 (down from its original price of £429.99), a PlayStation Portal for £170.99 (was £199.99), which would be a record price, and a DualSense controller for just £42.74 (was £64.99).

As a result of the ongoing sale, the extra 5% makes for really nice savings and knocks some things down to near-record prices. The discount is automatically applied at checkout, assuming you're signed in with your PlayStation account.

Unfortunately, this PS Plus benefit is only available in the UK at the moment, but we expect Sony to launch it elsewhere in 2025. Currently, the company says the discount is available on a “limited trial” basis until March 31, 2027.
