Firaxis Games has officially announced it Civilization 7, It will arrive on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch in 2025.
The reveal came during Summer Game Fest 2024 along with an impressive cinematic trailer showing the new chapter of the Civilization franchise.
“The award-winning strategy game franchise returns with a revolutionary new chapter,” says the game's official description. “Sid Meier's Civilization® VII lets you build the largest empire the world has ever known!
“Rule as one of the many legendary leaders throughout history. Establish your civilization, build cities and architectural wonders to expand your territory, conquer or cooperate with rival civilizations for prosperity, and explore the reaches of the unknown world. Will you build?” An empire that stands the test of time?
Civilization Creator Sid Meier also appeared during the stream to confirm that a full reveal of the game will be coming sometime this summer. Hopefully, we can also expect platform-specific details, along with an official release date during this reveal.
