2K Games has officially announced that Borderlands 4 It is in development.
During Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, 2K Games and Gearbox Software confirmed that the next major title in the Borderlands The series is set to release in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. You can also wishlist the game on Steam now.
The short announcement trailer, which you can watch below, didn't reveal much, but it did more or less confirm that players will be heading to a mysterious planet that's apparently been overtaken by a disaster.
The final shot of the trailer also showed the iconic Borderlands Psycho Mask, but it's unclear at this time if we'll see the return of more familiar faces from the series.
