It finally happened. Almost three years later. ArcaneThe first season of 's has come to an end, the second and final chapter of the hit Netflix show already has a release date and, fittingly, it is scheduled to arrive close to the third anniversary of its predecessor.
Announced during Netflix's Geeked Week 2024 live event, Arcane Season 2 will officially debut on Netflix on Saturday, November 9thIt's an unusual day for one of Netflix's most successful animated series to return, but hey, I'm not complaining. I'll be sitting down, bowl of cereal in hand, to enjoy my Saturday morning cartoon fix (albeit of the adult variety) as soon as it premieres.
But wait, there's more. Netflix, in collaboration with its Arcane Partners Riot Games and Fortiche Productions had even more surprises in store at Geeked Week Live. First, the trio revealed that, just like Arcane Season 1, one of the best second seasons of any Netflix show, will be released in three parts: Act 1 will debut in November, Act 2 will arrive on November 16, and Act 3 will conclude the show on November 23. It’s unknown how many episodes there will be in each volume, but I suspect it will be three each, which is how many acts the Season 1 trio had.
We're not done yet, folks. Showrunners Christian Linke and Alex Yee also took to the Geeked Week Live stage to reveal a new clip from Season 2, showcasing Vi, or as this version of the character is known in Arcane fan circles, Pit Fighter Vi, engaging in some pit fighting shenanigans. She certainly looks like she's in her emo phase, too, judging by her monochromatic outfit and makeup. My guess? Something terrible happens in Act 1 of Season 2, forcing Vi to go underground and disguise herself in Act 2. But, as Arcane The official trailer for Season 2 was teased earlier in September; she'll have to overcome her self-imposed exile and/or depression to protect Piltover and Zaun as Season 2 progresses.
Lastly, on the revelations front, Netflix and Riot also announced Twilight glowAn after-show hosted by Vi and Jinx voice actors Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Purnell will showcase behind-the-scenes footage from every act of the Netflix adaptation of Riot. League of Legends video game franchise. More details on when and where Twilight glow They will be available to watch soon, but don't be surprised if you can watch them on the world's best streaming service after you've watched each volume.
