Ahead of its 25% price increase, Amazon appears to have sold out of the white PlayStation Portal, but the midnight black version is still in stock.

As we prepare for another PlayStation price increase, it might be time to consider jumping in if you've been hitting the buy button in recent weeks or months.

If the thought of paying $900 for a PlayStation 5 Pro, or $250 for a PlayStation Portal, makes you puff out your cheeks and raise your eyebrows, then the next few days are critical to being able to pick up some new PS5 hardware.

Although the consoles and handheld are not part of Amazon's Big Spring Sale, the mega retailer offering stock of all affected products is good news. But that may be changing, as I've noticed PS5 Pro stock fluctuating a bit and Amazon also doesn't have new stock of the white PlayStation Portal since it recently sold out.

If you already have a PS5 console, then the price increase may not matter as much, but I'd still highly recommend committing to that PS5 Pro upgrade now if you've been thinking about it, or purchasing a Portal at its current price to get a premium accessory.
