Wolverine Worldwide has presented a renewed global headquarters in Rockford, Michigan, with the aim of modernizing its facilities and centralizing operations to attract and retain the best talent.
The project includes a complete review of 40,000 square feet of space, now called “The Factory”, which will serve as the new home for the flagship brands of Wolverine Merrell and Saucony. In particular, Saucony recently moved from Boston to Rockford.

“We believe that in order to create incredible, reflective products and experiences of right and innovative trend that improve the lives of our consumers and promote growth, we must provide the members of our team excellent environments to work and win together.”
Built in 1963 and was originally used as a footwear factory, the space became offices in the 1990s. The recently redesigned factory combines the industrial heritage of the site with modern functionality. Now it presents exposed structural elements, concrete floors, floor by roof windows, 224 work stations, products and brand marketing rooms, 31 collaboration and meeting spaces, a coffee design and state -of -the -art design and marketing technologies.
The factory joins other improvements in the 300,000 square feet campus of Wolverine, including the comforts in the place, such as a subsidized nursery and an early children's education center, a gym, four miles of nature trails on the campus, a subsidized cafeteria in the place and dog carrier services.
The project has the support of a subsidy of the Michigan Business Development Program of $ 1 million in collaboration with the Michigan Economic Development Center (MEDC) and the Right Place, Inc.
