Versace is associated with Beijing's International Film Festival

Versace has been associated with the Beijing International Film Festival, becoming the official fashionable brand official of the 15th edition of this film celebration.

Official Sponsor of Versace of the Beijing Film Festival – Dr.

The measure marks the first news of the company since the Milanese fashion house announced on March 13 that Dario Vitale would be its new creative director and that its designer Donatella Versace of a lifetime would become the brand's ambassador.

“The fashion house will take advantage of its rich inheritance of the creation of images and the values of empowerment and self -expression to support the next generation of Chinese and international film talent,” Versace said in a statement. The brand did not say what exact roles its new ambassador or designer would play, if any, at the festival.

This association with the Beijing International Film Festival (BJiff) comes from a passion shared by visual arts: its creation, experimentation and promotion. Since its inception, the visual vernacular language of Versace's house has been a 360 degree creative proposal that covers a unique combination of photography, film, performing arts and cinema, the brand continued.

“Versace's link with the world of cinema is inseparable. The main talents of the world's screen choose to express their authentic self outside the screen with Versace, with the presence of Versace's design on the red carpet of international awards and festivals without a doubt,” Versace added.

Under the direction of Donatella, the house had a remarkable red carpet history, notably attending to Jennifer López with the famous low dress of the jungle printing for the Grammys in 2000; Beyoncé in Slinky Black Velvet at the Academy Awards in 2005; Blake Lively as a tanned goddess for the Met gala in 2022; and Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Penelope Cruz as screen goddesses in several Oscar ceremonies.

2025 marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of world cinema, the 120th anniversary of Chinese cinema and the 15th anniversary of the Foundation of the Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF).

This year's BJIFF will organize hundreds of events that cover various formats and topics: driving creativity, promoting outstanding works, empowering industry transformation and stimulating high quality development of the film market.

Versace will assume an active role in the Beijing market tone training camp, allowing young talents to participate in professional training directed by a panel of mentors. This year, the camp has expanded its recruitment worldwide, inviting emerging talents in production, direction, art and cinematography direction. Participants co-create original short films on contemporary topics, amplifying fresh voices and discovering the creators on the rise.

Through your participation in the Pitch training field, Versace continues your help for creativity in visual arts, with a particular stimulus to new generation talent.

Versace's support will arrive at climax with Beijing's night dinner on April 20, combining Versace's passion for promoting creative talent with the visual show and glamor.
