The Spanish brand Mango adds Helena Helmersson to address global growth

Mango, one of the main international fashion brands, has reinforced its corporate governance structure by appointing Helena Helmersson as a new independent member of its board of directors, the company's highest decision -making authority. This strategic movement, decided by the Board last week, is aligned with international best practices and reinforces the professionalized management model that the mango has been advancing diligently in recent years.

With more than 20 years of international experience in the fashion industry, Helmersson has played several leadership roles within the H&M group, including the executive director from 2020 to 2024, directing sustainability, production and global operations. Helmersson is also president of the Circulation Board and a member of the On Holding AG and AlmiRr Board. His experience and international experience in H&M Group, a global fashion brand with a presence in more than 75 markets, provides a strategic perspective to the governing body of Mango.

Mango has appointed the former CEO of H&M, Helena Helmersson, as a member of the Independent Board to strengthen governance and support her strategic plan 2024-2026. With this addition, the Board of Mango Directors (MANGO MNG) will consist of Toni Ruiz (President and Executive Director), Jonathan Andic (Vice President), Daniel López and Margarita Salvans as executive directors; and six independent directors: Jordi Canals, professor and president of the Corporate Governance Center at the IESE Business School; Jorge Luraya, founding partner of Az Capital; Jordi Constans, director and former executive of national and international companies; Marc Puig, president and CEO of Puig; Manel Angel, former unequal CEO and member of the Board of several companies in the sector; and Helena Helmersson, former CEO of the H&M group and member of the Board of several organizations. Eugenia Jover serves as a non -director's secretary of the Board of Directors.

This strengthening of the Board is part of Mango's commitment to the objectives defined in its strategic plan 2024–2026 4E, focused on strengthening its proposal of differentiated value, its commitment to innovation and sustainability, and promoting sales through significant expansion.
