The Irish brand Primark will open its second store in Emilia Romagna, Italy

Primark, the international fashion retailer, announces that it will open a new store in Parma, Italy, as part of its wider expansion plans in the Italian market. This store will be located inside the 'Parma Retail' shopping center, near the city center.

This new store will be Primark's second in the Emilia Romagna region, following the opening of Primark Bologna in 'Shopville Gran Reno' in 2022. Primark currently has 15 stores across Italy, with its 16th store opening on May 9 in the urban district 'To Dream'. , Turin.

This expansion marks the brand's commitment to offering affordable yet sustainable fashion options. Primark Parma, currently scheduled to open in 2026, will span approx. 3,400 square meters of retail space and will offer the fantastic in-store experience that Primark is known and loved for. Customers can expect to shop the latest fashion trends in women's, men's and children's clothing, as well as everyday essentials in beauty, lifestyle, home goods and accessories.

Primark is committed to offering more sustainable products at prices everyone can afford. Already 55% of Primark's clothing is made from recycled or more sustainably sourced materials, and the retailer has committed to making this 100% by 2030.

In 2022, the Eurofund Group entered Italy with the agreement to acquire Parma Retail and transform it into Parma Promenade.

Last year, Primark reaffirmed its commitment to Italy by announcing a €50 million investment in its Italian business. Primark Parma is a new opening, which will bring its total presence in the country to 21 stores.
