Coinciding with the Frieze Los Angeles event, which will be held from February 29 to March 3, the exhibition titled 'Selected Works '982-'024' brings rare and previously unexhibited pieces to the United States, including the first complete description of the Stone island. Shadow Project.

The exhibition, which will take place at Buttercup Studios in Culver City, opens with a display of 42 archival pieces, each representing pivotal moments in the brand's history. Another display highlights 12 reflective jackets, while another installation highlights Stone Island Pure Metal Shell Jackets, with 35 examples on display. Later in the exhibition, seven rare pieces from Stone Island's prototype research series are on display.

The exhibition, which embodies the spirit of Stone Island's 'Lab-Life', also offers a pop-up shop and café curated by local friends of the brand in Los Angeles. There is also a program of screenings and talks with notable figures such as Chris Gibbs, Liam MacRae and Chris Black.

The highlight of the program is the premiere of 'Infinite Colors', a feature-length documentary by Ken-Tonio Yamamoto, which offers an intimate look at the workers and processes behind Stone Island's headquarters in Ravarino, Italy. Additionally, Jeremy Elkin's short film 'The Compass Inside' explores the interconnectedness of Stone Island's global community.

Attendance at the Selected Works '982-'024 exhibition is free.
